LMAO!

Bait worked again!

I'm sorry, Don, I just couldn't resist. Have a super day.

Have you put that new boat in the water yet? I'd think it would be really hard not to do so, if for
no other reason than to make sure everything works!

Why not go the other way and do the big loop? You can laze your way

No real interest in doing the entire great loop. As far as I'm
concerned the best part is up the east coast and into the great lakes.
I know several people who have done it because it was sort of a bucket
list goal and have then gone on to sell their boats when they
returned.

I see you are on a roll today, coming up on Cape May. Guess you didn't
stop at Mc Garveys for a beer. ;-)

I see you are anchored up right there where we launched the Monomoy
Surf Boats. Are the Coasties still rowing out to sea in boot camp?
I hope the weather holds off on you for this sprint into the big
apple.

===

The wind is howling here this morning so we may be stuck in port for a
while. I've never seen any sign of rowing activity here although
we've passed through many times. Cape May is arguably the best inlet
on the NJ coast but you have to get back in at some point.

I suspect "boats" was dropped when they trimmed down the boot camp
from 12 weeks to 8. I just looked at a video about the training and it
looks like they are far more into physical misery than it was when I
was there. We spent 4 hours a day in some kind of class and they
actually concentrated on learning skills. The surf boat was really
just one of those misery things but we were learning a bit about
seamanship and rough water boat handling. Back there in the inlet, it
was pretty calm but as soon as you cleared the breakwater, it got
exciting and we got wet. We were either flying a small craft warning
or gale warning flags the whole time I was there. I thought it was
some kind of unit pennant for a while. ;-)

The cape is pretty cold in February with 25-30 winds all the time.

I hope this lays down soon so you can make that outside run

Y'all sure do talk funny down in the Carolinas.

Didn't you realize he did that just to prove his point, Don?

Ever heard of 'bait'.

LOL! Poor old Don.

I try very hard to use correct gramar and speling 'cause I know Don will jump all over me if I make
a boo-boo.

We all make mistakes. Don't let Donnie boy rattle you. He's far from

Sez who?
By the way...this is quite amusing.
The John went fishing for a shark and caught a minnow. He'd better anti up and use better bait.

FlaJim's choices when he was a teenybopper were either to enlist in the
navy or go to jail. Johnny the Racist's choices apparently were more
limited.

Are you calling yourself a minnow now?

I won't call your attention, specifically, to your 'typo'.

You whine about his anonymity, yet pretend to know so much of his history.
