nothing like flying a fixed wing aircraft - model or real.

Totally different. They're fun to fly though. I bought one for the kids to play with
when we go to Solomon's. They get a charge out of it. The quadcopters don't require
nearly as much room as an airplane. If you get one for kids, be sure to get extra
batteries.
