When you have guns in a house. 7 times more likely than when a gun
isn't in the house... Well, either this or suicide...

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Two people were killed and another was wounded in a
shooting at a Vancouver home early Monday morning, police said.

Police called it a domestic violence situation.

The person who survived was taken to a hospital. Police say they
expect that person to survive.

The three were found at a home near Northeast 52nd Street at 131st
Avenue.

Neighbors said they heard fighting in the house, followed by gunshots
at around 5:15 a.m. Several neighbors called 911.

Police said they are not looking for a suspect and there is no threat
to the community.

Detectives are preparing a search warrant to enter the home, according
to police. They will release further updates after detectives collect
evidence inside the house.

Some neighbors said they had heard fighting between family members in
the home before.

A neighbor named James told KATU the father who lives at the home lost
his job in the last few weeks. James said he was worried that
something bad might happen.

The names of the people involved in the shooting have not been
released.

Armed homeowner fights off armed home invaders, The Bismarck Tribune, Bismarck, N.D. 03/31/14

Jeff Gegelman was at home in Golden Valley, N.D. when three men in a car drove onto his property,
then knocked on his door. Suspicious, Gegelman retrieved a .22-caliber pistol and watched as the men
returned to the vehicle, and then as two of the men returned to the house. The pair of men then
forced open the door, at which point Gegelman leveled his gun at the intruders and told them, “You
came to the wrong house today.” Gegelman and the home invaders exchanged fire, resulting in wounds
to both Gegelman and one of the intruders. Following the exchange, the criminals fled, but not
before Gegelman was able to record the license plate of the car they were driving. Police captured
the wounded home invader a short time later, as he was seeking medical attention. Gegelman has been
released from the hospital, and has told a local news outlet that he intends to acquire “a bigger
gun and more bullets.”

Armed customer halts syringe-wielding attacker, The Detroit Free Press, Detroit, Mich. 03/25/14

An admitted heroin addict was confronted outside a Home Depot in Roseville, Mich. by two loss
prevention officers that suspected him of shoplifting. When the employees tried to apprehend the
man, he responded by drawing a syringe from his jacket and slashing at the personnel, striking one
of the employees several times. A customer, and Right-to-Carry permit holder, witnessed the
incident, drew a gun and ordered the addict to halt his attack. The attacker initially complied,
then attempted to flee as police approached, but was captured by law enforcement shortly after.
Roseville Police Chief James Berlin told a local new outlet that the Right-to-Carry permit holder
will be put up for a citizen’s award.

Thank goodness for guns, eh?

So, jps, are just conservatives the problem, or do liberals, like your buddy Harold Krause, share
the blame?

You should get rid of all of your guns, then you can have your righteous
indignation.

What did those union teachers do to the 16 - 36 age group to make them want
to kill so much?

Maybe life is not good in your state. Lots of crazy people. Maybe the
gene pool improved. Maybe they were not nice people to start with. Could
have used hammers or pencils or sissors.

But, they didn't. They chose the handiest, most efficient tool
available.

Most of our citizens these days are imports from other states. But I'm
sure lunatics make up a similar percentage of population in every
state, apart from Florida, which has significantly more than their
share.

So what's your point? Are liberals to blame for any of this, or is it only those conservative owners
of guns?
