Default Ammunition prices dropping?

Here's a pretty good explanation of why....

The Sellier & Bellot .357 Magnum FMJ target ammo I like is just under
$2.00 a box of 50 cheaper than it was two months ago. I've seen CCI
..22LR soft lead ammo around on dealer shelves, but I don't buy uncoated
or non FMJ ammo, for the most part. From what I have read, though, the
ammo hoarders are still hoarding by buying everything they see on the
shelves.

Sounds like civilian stockpiles of ammo are going to reach all time
highs. That must have been OhBumma's goal in the first place.

Was in the gun store Friday looking at a new AR. $699 for M&P Sport. $399
for a 1000 rd case of ammo for it. Maybe should wait on the AR?

I'd say that the M&P is just as good as an AR, And I doubt you'll find the AR's dropping in price that much. Might be wrong though...

Back several years ago I bought ball .223 in a bulk load of 2500 for 12c. a shot. Still have most of it too.

I don't like how the M&P shoots. The gas system doesn't seem as refined
as my Colt or my friend's Rock River Arms. It feels more like my bolt
action .223.

Commodity center fire ammo will flirt with 15-20 cents a round and I
will jump back in. Until then I am OK.

..308 is still more than .45!

There are two different systems. The M&P and original M16 gas tube
system and then the newer more expensive Piston at the end of the
forestock system.

i read where there is starting to be an oversupply of AR type weapons.
Most have filled their fears in buying and the supply line is still
cranked up.
