And the beach there is a hard slope -the kind that lets the wave slap you right into the place,and if you're lucky it won't drag you out to roll you over again before it swallows you. Don't know, John. On both islands Oahu and Kauai, I saw guys with buckets of stuff on the beach. They had some pretty stout rods casting out into the ocean, but I didn't see anybody reeling anything in. I imagine the real fishing is further out.
