Default Obviously, he was standing his ground.

I find it "funny as hell" that anyone, and I mean anyone, still takes

On a more serious note, my 10-year-old iPod is winging, trucking, or
training its way back to me after its journey to Middle America for a
dilatation and curettage. After all those years of heavy use, the
battery inside was only holding a charge for about two hours, instead
of the usual nearly full day. So, for $25, I sent it out to Olathe,
Kansas, which, in the good old days was known to KC Star reporters as
"Holy Olathe" for reasons I cannot remember, for a battery replacement
and dusting.

This particular model iPod is well-known as a bitch to work on, and
since I didn't want to destroy it by attempting the battery
replacement myself, out it went to "the shop."

I think my wife is going to swipe it to use in the gym downtown at
work. Her iPod is going out for a battery replacement next, but she
wants to keep that one at the house for her workouts here. My iPhone
is the 64 GB model, so it has more than enough capacity for the tunes
I carry with me.

Yes, that is VERY serious. Good luck with your iPod. I'm sure everyone
is hoping for its safe return.
