Beautiful gun. You could take on an armored division with it. Why
a .357?

.357 gives you a performance advantage over the .45 and 9mm.
10mm/.40 closed that gap.
I know, I've got one, a revolver. I guess if I lived down there I'd
want something that'd kill
pythons and boas on the first shot.
They usually use shotguns with bird shot (7 1/2 or 8)
It might be tough hitting a moving snake with a handgun. You really
don't want one of them to bite you. There is no venom but they do
have
a mouth full of backward facing teeth.
I've seen the pictures. Horrendous looking monster mouths. I'd want an
M-79 with a buckshot round.

A friend's wife recently received her LTC and was shopping for her
first gun. She wanted a revolver, so I let her try my little .38
Chief's Special thinking she'd like the size and light weight.
Nope. She wanted something bigger. She ended up buying a S&W
Governor that shoot's regular 45 rounds and also 410 bore shotgun
rounds.
I tried it out last week for the first time. Very nice. The 410
rounds are weird but I could see them as being good for snakes. They
have 3 large pellets and a bunch of smaller ones. Spread is
obviously dependent on range but up close ( 3 yards) it was about 3
inches.

I've seen them at the gun shows. They are mean looking devils!
