Yeah, but you have to admit, the .357 magnum makes the .38 round feel
and sound like a pea shooter. I like to load my S&W 627 with
alternate rounds of .38s and 357 magnums. The great ammo shortage of
2013 seems to be slowly easing a bit and the prices at some places are
coming back down out of the stratosphere. I posted this link
before, but here it is again. I am shooting the 627 at the range
with alternate rounds. The first one is obviously a .38. Then the
357. Turn your sound up for full effect. :-)

That's the way my brother, the cop, got me shooting this revolver. Went out in the desert to a cop
firing range and he'd load a mix of .357 and .38. Hell of a difference.
