Apparently we have a new crop...cicadas...about a billion of them in the woods, drinking, screwing, eating, and making lots of cicada noises. There's gotta be a way to export them for Big Dollars. Those *things make great fish bait! I was wondering about that. I sorta figured bass would go crazy for them, but I didn't know. Bass, other species? One wondered into the house when I opened the screen door and our five pound "Smidge" cat thought it was a wonderful plaything until she bit it into two pieces. She didn't eat it, though. Well, you can put them on a hook and they'll wiggle for seemingly hr's. . They're a great live bait for about any pond/river fish at least around here... |
