Beautiful place, within a few miles of the Isle of Palms Marina; one of my stops when taking the Navigator south to Jupiter, FL. He's been emailing pictures of several local marinas with slips for sale. Seriously thinking of another boat down there in about a year. Just need to talk Mrs.E. out of her horses. The Atlantic coastal areas of South Carolina, Georgia and even (gasp!) northern Florida are great places for boaters and fishermen. -- I'm a liberal because the militant fundamentalist ignorant science-denying religious xenophobic corporate oligarchy of modern Republican conservatism just doesn't work for me or my country. |

There is no sign on the place, but once you find it, it's the best seafood in all of Charleston. ------------------------------------- I think you mentioned "The Wreck" in an earlier post and I mentioned it in an e-mail to my son. He knows exactly where it is and is going to try it (may have already). They just moved down there in early July. He's been scouting the area out and so far they love it. A little hot, but they'll get used to it. |

But there are lots more places to try. If the Wreck was open for lunch we'd go there too, but they're a dinner only place. |

I could tell you the trick but I would have to kill you *;-) The shotgun and M1A are in another locked cabinet, hidden pretty well but not really a 2 second thing, more like 10. I like building hidden compartments in things I make. You should have lived in a better neighborhood when you were in Maryland. "Bad neighborhoods" have a way of sneaking up on you in Maryland. You think you are far enough out of DC to be safe, then DC comes out to meet you. It won't be long until they get out to Harry in Calvert County. PG is a combat zone and Charles is rapidly going that way. I am so damned happy to be 1400 miles away from that sewer. Two years and I will be leaving this state for good. Well, that'll clear the air a little. Let's see...where would a right-winger like you go...uh...South Carolina? Texas? Mississippi? Alabama? You sure seem to have a chip on your shoulder about the south, bigot. I've been to some very nice places in every state you mentioned. Snellville GA??.. or maybe Tucker GA?? |
