Since I'm reasonably apolitical myself I mostly choose to castigate

Unfortunately you always seem hell bent on carving out a niche for
yourself in that realm.

Bull****. You are a right-wing "corporationist."

I mostly choose to castigate
those who violate the rules of decency, good will and common sense.
Unfortunately you always seem hell bent on carving out a niche for
yourself in that realm.

Ahh, then here's a deal you won't be able to resist. Beginning Sunday,
day one of 2012, I'll refrain from what I perceive as violating your
"rules of decency," so long as you refrain from attempting to insult me
or my family members directly or indirectly *and* you continuously
castigate all of those who continue to "violate the rules of decency,
good will and common sense." The *and* is important.

If you accept the "deal," I suspect you'll be very busy here. If you
don't accept the deal, you'll just be proving your hypocrisy.

That's the deal. Take it or leave it.

Notice, as usual, the coward's "deal" has caveats that he doesn't have
to abide by. Notice, that everyone must refrain from insulting Harry or
his family members, but nowhere does he say that he will do the same.

Can we assume that you will drop your inflammatory sig lines as well?
Why not extend the invitation to everyone; but first you need to change
the wording to include everyone instead of just you and your family
member. Also, I do have a problem with "what I perceive". Can you change
that so that we can all play this game on a "level playing field"?

We know you like to carefully word things so that you can avail
yourself of loopholes, insinuations, ambiguous and misleading
descriptors. And you write deals to give yourself unfair advantage. After
all, isn't that part of liberal arts training? I believe I read that
somewhere in a synopsis.

Anything you are willing to do to help stem this downward spiral in
rec.boats would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much,
Oscar

My gosh. I'm finally getting through to you.
Do you wish that all, who don't share your views, stop posting here?
Keep dreaming.
Your sigs only serve to incite and inflame, so if that's your intent,
keep it up. We will still be here to remind you of your flawed personality.

This must just be a Pinellas County thing. We have had two of these in
a couple years. (the football guys)
I assume you watched this in the news too. The mate said the rode
"snapped back" implying it dragged the boat backward and down.
They must have really had a strain on it, probably taking a running
start.
It really sounds like a roadrunner cartoon to me.

In high school, a noted hot rodder put a big V8 in a racing hull. We all
went to the lake to watch him. He made several fast passes, some turns,
then headed towards the dock at medium speed. At the NO WAKE buoy, he
snapped the throttle back. And the wave swamped the transom, sinking the
boat in about 25 feet of water.

I wonder why there are few licenses required to own high powered boats.

I've been trying to get such a deal from him for years. Hope he sticks to the spirit of his 'deal',
and not just the letter.
