so what do you think, crew...anyone up for the challenge?

I think your header is a good way to start. No politics or religion
(added). I'd add a ban on
personal insults also.

Then, add no answering to the fools who violate the resolution.
Just because someone can't stop
themselves doesn't mean you, or anyone else, should allow 'anything
to happen'.

I notice Harry wished you well, but didn't say 'yes' or 'no'.

Also add NO RECIEPES, or MOTORBIKES, or GOLF, or ****TY TOYOTA TRUCKS,
or CANCER POSTS (call me a hard ass, but they're just too dam
depressing !!)

I'm in favor of all those "no-no's," and if you can add in grandchildren
and dumb dogs, it'll be a winner. Oh...I think recipes using seafood
you've caught are reasonable.

Dogs and grandkids make good boating partners though. Motorbikes are
helpful. An aquaintance of mine has a 33 ft. Wellcraft on the Lake of
the Ozarks, and on it he has a couple of Honda Express motor scooters.
They use them after thy dock at other places and run around on them to
restaurants etc. Light enough to man handle over the side on the dock.
On the back of my old 27 ft. Chris craft, i was thinking on strapping
a 75cc honda to the swim platform for the same reason. Licensed, it
would have been great for going down the Illinois, to St. Louis, or up
to Peoria and running up town etc.

Motorcycles are cool.

Boat use of motorbikes/scooters is as appropriate as recipes of fish
caught and cooked...directly boating related, typically. No argument
from me on that.

Those Honda scooters are pretty old.

Pope Harry blesses motorcycles. I wonder what else Harry will deem
acceptable to post? As if it matters.

Notice if you will, Harry starts making rules, excuses, etc. because he
can't stop insulting and name calling!

I give you to Jan 2nd to mess up.

I say the 2nd as you will not have recovered from drugs/booze until
then.

i look forward to your release from the penitentiary hospital. no
doubt your cure from the various STD's you carry will improve your
health.

Way back when, after my wife got her M.S. degree and in the process
achieving a perfect GPA, she was "awarded" an internship at one of
Florida's huge forensic mental hospitals. Patients ended up there for
various reasons, but an awfully high percentage were there because they
were found "not guilty" of a particular serious crime because of
insanity, or whatever it was called in Florida. My wife provided them
with group and individual therapy.

I visited the place a few times to meet my wife for lunch and, in the
process, got to interact with at least a dozen patients who were allowed
access to the general cafeteria and the grounds. These were patients who
were reasonably stable and had earned the privilege as a result of good
behavior. I recall that at least a few of the murderers, arsonists, et
cetera, were not only smarter than posters like Canuckles, iSnotty, and
several of the other righties here, and iLoogy, of course, but had far
better manners.

I'll watch with interest how it goes in here. The last time it was
tried, iSnotty spent most of his time here retelling us how badly he had
been treated in the past.

Straight A in school isn't wisdom. She married you.

It's fascinating how the mooks in here who did not do well in school are
so jealous of those who did, even if they don't realize it.

Please tell who didn't do well in school and how you know this.

I'm in favor of that, but most of the posters are non-boaters and the
vast majority come here to post for, against, or about Harry. Harry is
their straw man and since they have no significant life away from this
newsgroup, this OT posting stupidity gives their life meaning.

You miss the point completely. 99% of us have great lives but can't post
about them because Harry, Jps, Don, etc will mock or turn them into
something nasty... I would love to tell you all about how my training
has moved from my daughter to my wife who has taken a serious interest
in a very physical sport.

... but I don't dare, even if there is a truce because I know as well as
you do, being an election year next year Harry will have his audience
here, stalk and silence any detractors, and use any info gleaned during
the truce against us all by February...

Did you notice how the coward slinked away after I agreed to meet him in
public in Huntingtown? HE said that HE would meet me in the street, to
which I wholeheartedly agreed and asked when. The poor coward's yellow
streak sure brightened up then!!
