i'll be the first to say i will NOT be the first to post ANYTHING non
boating related. of course, if some idiot chooses to do so then
anything can happen

so what do you think, crew...anyone up for the challenge?

I think your header is a good way to start. No politics or religion (added). I'd add a ban on
personal insults also.

Then, add no answering to the fools who violate the resolution. Just because someone can't stop
themselves doesn't mean you, or anyone else, should allow 'anything to happen'.

I notice Harry wished you well, but didn't say 'yes' or 'no'.

Also add NO RECIEPES, or MOTORBIKES, or GOLF, or ****TY TOYOTA TRUCKS,
or CANCER POSTS (call me a hard ass, but they're just too dam
depressing !!)

I'm in favor of all those "no-no's," and if you can add in grandchildren
and dumb dogs, it'll be a winner. Oh...I think recipes using seafood
you've caught are reasonable.

Dogs and grandkids make good boating partners though. Motorbikes are
helpful. An aquaintance of mine has a 33 ft. Wellcraft on the Lake of
the Ozarks, and on it he has a couple of Honda Express motor scooters.
They use them after thy dock at other places and run around on them to
restaurants etc. Light enough to man handle over the side on the dock.
On the back of my old 27 ft. Chris craft, i was thinking on strapping
a 75cc honda to the swim platform for the same reason. Licensed, it
would have been great for going down the Illinois, to St. Louis, or up
to Peoria and running up town etc.

Motorcycles are cool.

I'm in favor of that, but most of the posters are non-boaters and the
vast majority come here to post for, against, or about Harry. Harry is
their straw man and since they have no significant life away from this
newsgroup, this OT posting stupidity gives their life meaning.

I don't mean to be a nattering nabob of negativism, but this has been
tried before and it seems a non-political newsgroup just doesn't
interest them anymore. After a very few days, the hormones of drama
have worn off, and they have to get another fix of them with a
political kool-aid post.

We shall see.

I've noticed that too. This past year things started off well, then
after a week the place headed for the sewer.... Maybe this time if all
works to boating favor it might make it a month, but i doubt it.

I'm in, though.

Boat use of motorbikes/scooters is as appropriate as recipes of fish
caught and cooked...directly boating related, typically. No argument
from me on that.

Those Honda scooters are pretty old.

Harry will push the envelope until it tears.. It's what he has been
working on for years here, silence folks he doesn't agree with. You want
this to work, include a ban on harry, jps, don, and bob.... That's the
only way it will work...- Hide quoted text -

Somebody has to fumigate the agitators, irritators, instigators and

Why don't you start by taking a bath. Ass bubbles optional.

Pope Harry blesses motorcycles. I wonder what else Harry will deem
acceptable to post? As if it matters.

Who knows, Bubbles might be his hero.

Filmed in Nova Scotia. A national embarrassment. Partly because people
really live that way. Yep, filming NS every day life goes over big in
backwoods Newfoundland, Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba.
