It is a little bit of fun to watch the mooks twisting on the end of the
hooks on which they've set themselves. :)

As an example, two or three of the mooks actually looked up the web page
on which Giant Food lists the rules and regs for its gas discount plan.
One of the boys said, "well, prescriptions are not included." Except,
the last time I got an Rx at Giant, the clerk asked me for my Giant
Discount Card, saying that prescriptions "now" qualified. Previously, I
had been told at that counter that "pharmacy items" did not qualify.

Now, is it still the same...do prescriptions still qualify? I don't
know. And prescriptions weren't the only items that were at first off
and then on the qualification list.

What does this tell you?

Two things: Giant is flexible enough to change its programs to suit its
needs, and that some of the boys here are overwhelmed by their own rigid
personality disorders, and can't see the forest for the trees.

But we already knew that.
