Up until 2004 I was a fence sitter, voting for the candidate I thought was worthy, regardless of political party. In 2008 it was nothing but democrats and it'll stay that way until I can find a republican that doesn't have his head planted firmly up his ass. So you admit that you just kind of went with the prevailing wind and you had no moral compass or grounding in reality or a set of principles that you lived by and which guided your life. This explains quite a bit about you. Your attitude is the exact reason I jumped off the fence. You, like many of your conservative brethren, take a statement and twist it out of context in order to make the other side look bad. Where did I say, or even hint, that I "went with the prevailing wind"? Sort of sounds like I may not have researched the candidates I voted for, which I did, extensively. Which way is the wind blowing this fall and which way will you be voting? Will you be voting with the crowd or will you be voting your principles? You haven't been paying attention. I have been a conservative since before I could vote. I learned the value of hard work and self sufficiency. In 1980 while I was a government employee, civil service, I voted for Reagan even though he campaigned to reduce the size of the federal workforce. Voting for the guy who may end up firing you, that is casting a ballot based upon principles. So you admit that you vote right even if you don't agree with the candidate? Correct. I cannot see a time where I would ever vote for a Democrat. They do not represent my beliefs nor are they a principled lot. Would you vote for O'Donnell if you lived in Delaware? Bert Robbins would vote for Idi Amin if he were running on the GOP-Teabagger ticket.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - Hey, it's your party that continually re-elects convicted criminals and "anybody" who is running on the democratic ticket. http://clockworkphoenix.com/~dda/criminals.php Here is a list of convicted crims in the congress, notice the dems outnumber the repubs by almost 220percent... Look at Charlie Rangle, William Jefferson, Billary!!! All you guys need is someone to promise you more welfare checks and you are on board in an instant.... As if your opinion on anything mattered...you're an uneducated, unemployable, sucker on society... |
