If I was a betting man, I could be convinced that the President is
tired of being President and is setting himself up for a Party
election defeat in 2010 and a general election defeat in 2012 -
assuming he decides to run again which, maybe, he might not. He can
blame it on all those folks who won't let go of their guns and bibles
and of course, all those racist 'tards who vote Republican.

We could be in for another Lyndon Johnson moment in the near future.

It would fit his MO of being at a job for a little while, then going
on to something different. There ain't much more to go to though
other than President of The World or some such. Maybe Secretary
General of the UN?

Stay tuned.

I guess those saying Obama be a Muslim supporter are right. How crass to
put the thing so close to 9/11 where 19 Muslims (15 from Saudi) did 9/11.

We spent what, about a billion dollars building a new embassy in Iraq,
really close to where we killed tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis?

How crass.

No, they had it coming.

Every politician "panders" to his or her base. The previous president
pandered to oil and corporate interests, crazy christians, those who deny

They must be disappointed in Obama. He was supposed to pay for their
home and auto mortgages. Decent jobs, no luck there either.

I don't say this lightly, but is it possible you are as stupid
as...Scott Ingersoll? There have been programs to boost home and auto
sales, but...I saw nothing claiming there were programs to "pay for"
homes and auto loans. "Pay for" is far-reaching. I know you righties
aren't too "swift" with language, but seriously...

So, as a stalwart believer in equal rights and freedom of religion, not to
mention States rights to govern themselves, on what legal and ethical
grounds would you suggest he oppose this construction?
When the right wants him (and the fed gov't) to butt out on AZ/ immigration
but throw rocks about the above, all of these arguments lose credibility
with anyone who doesn't have a party ring in their nose.
I'm not pro - Obama, not pro -mosque nor am I pro- open borders, I'm just
anti- bull****, and this has got that meter pegged Tom.
Try to have a better option to vote for in 2012. Someone other than Klondike
Barbie.

Most time spent talking to wingnuts is wasted.
But they should be given hell when they want to subvert the law or
constitution.
Just offhand, seems to me the libs are prone to subverting the law, the
conservatives to subverting the Constitution.
Pick your poison.

But he should "lead" our country, and that would start by being
sympathetic to the thousands of people that lost someone in 9/11.
That's what he *should* be doing.

i dont recal reading in the 1st amendment to the constitution that it
can be suspended if a religion offends someone.

can you point out where it says that?

i personally am offended by the catholic church and its homophobia and
its policy of raping children

should we stop catholic churches from being built near schools?

i am a scientist. i'm offended by the s. baptsts being creationists.

should we stop building baptist churches nears universities and
research centers?

you offer nothing except incoherent bull****.

Remember how he's been conditioned: "Goddamn America!" You liberal
sheep are unbelievable.

uh no. more bull****. go ahead prove to me where he said that

it acxtually was his preacher that said that.

should we put him in prison?

I guess you don't follow current events very well. He is building his
voting base by continuing to pander to blacks, hispanics, and government

illegals stay and vote. Anyone who thinks he has a lock on 2012 is an
