My son and I occasionally crack open a half gallon in July, thaw it, shake it, and guzzle it. Just as good as the day it was made. Life is too short without egg nog, especially through the summer. |

As an observant Jew, he would have been very familiar with the dietary law of basar bechalav. "Thou shalt not seethe a kid in its mother's milk." |
