"Christians" conveniently forget how many wars "christians" have waged against other christians and people of other faiths, how many individuals have been murdered, tortured, or maimed in the name of christianity, or how many cultures have been wiped out in the name of christianity. In terms of killings over the last 2000 years, there's not much difference between the christian and muslim faiths. Hell, you don't have to look further than this newsgroup to find "christians" who pay no attention to the teachings of their "savior," and yet believe their are following their faith. |

Anyway, too bad you came back, hope it was hell, wherever you were.plonk Please elucidate on your posit that we are "bigoted and ignorant about modern christians." From what I have seen you post here, I suspect I know far more about that religion than you do. You seem to be unaware that your saviour was a man of great social consciousness, and got into serious trouble by pointing out shortcomings of the society in which he lived. You, on the other hand, are neither social nor conscious, but I'm sure you understand the problems of being short. |
