possible of an inch accumulation. I hope the rain evaporates first,
otherwise "black ice" w/snow coverage? Pretty bad driving. But they's

Reminds of my ignorant youth. A couple times we had snow storms while in
the Sierras as a kid. So I am driving to Ohio in January of 1964. Somewhere
in Missouri, looks like rain hitting the windshield, then I figure out it is
frozen stuff splatting on the windshield. Cool. Dumb kid. Was the Western
edge of a sleet storm, and by the time I got to St. Louis, was full fledged
blizzard. 1/4" of ice under the snow. Hell of a time driving. Finally
drove out the other side at Terra Haute. Drove like hell to Indy, and
finally got a hotel room at about 1:30 am. 11" blizzard. Wake up to a
beautiful, white landscape for my drive to Dayton. Good thing I have a
great, fast guardian angel.

We're right in a kind of the edge of two different zones and that
makes things strange. Like now, it's raining, it's about 35 degrees.
It could start sleeting at any time, then turn to snow for awhile
even. Also, because when we get these, it rains like hell then may
freeze at night and black ice is a BIG problem here.

I was just checking the in-laws flight into Atlanta to see if there's
still arrival delays, seems to be getting straightened out now, not
