Net results Indiana now has a 7% sales tax and you pay several time the what you use to pay for the personal property tax on your auto (based on the price of the auto) to get it licensed. What I wrote was what I believe to be a necessary alternative to the current tax structure. I know intuitively that our government will never surrender or dramatically overhaul the tax system as it stands.
