I believe this inclusion was intentional to destroy the US economy and force us into socialism. Kinda seems to be a whiff of blood and gunpowder in the air but I cannot find the source. |

The IRS has long had the capacity, under the beneficent oversight of our glorious lawmakers, to make criminals of innocent citizens. This is why a national sales tax as opposed to a personal income tax is an imperative. Having owned a manufactuing concern for a number of years, I'm all too well aware of the unwarranted burden the government has put on small business and the individual through the vehicle of an indifferent government agency. It's a repugnant oppression of the individual, and the "compassionate" Left wants to enhance our individual tax experience. So, I guess you didn't read this part:
"In another example of bad lawmaking, in 2007, Congress stuck into a supplemental appropriations bill a major change in the way penalties are computed for people in the business of preparing tax returns. Congress acted without consulting with the IRS. The IRS chief counsel at the time, Donald Korb, said publicly that the service had been "blindsided" by the change. The change created a conflict of interest for tax professionals. It subjected them to a higher penalty standard than their clients, which encouraged them to give tax advice that protected the tax preparer more than the taxpayer. The IRS and tax professionals tore their hair out trying to sort through the mess until 2008, when Congress changed the law again." This stuff happens all the time. But, it's Obama and Pelosi's fault, right? "Frogwatch" wrote in message ... Everybody makes honest tax mistakes but to get penalized so much will drive most of us out of business. The intention here seems to be to kill small business and make us all dependent on govt hand-outs. All your mom and pop stores will go under with the only outlets remaining will be Wal mart because they can afford to fight these penalties. Kinda seems to be a whiff of blood and gunpowder in the air but I cannot find the source. first of all, the WSJ is hardly an objective source. it's a cheering section for the folks who got us into this mess in the first place further, it's their goal to oppose ANY provisions which level the playing field in favor of the middle class. one person has called the "WSJ" 'quaintly reactionary'. and it is. Ad hominem argument. said the only man in america who doesn't know the political orientation of the WSJ. hint: it aint the 'pennysaver'. The WSJ, Forbes, Investors...et cetera, all push the extreme right wing position at all times. Meanwhile, Obama gives $2 billion to an oil company in Brazil whose main shareholder is ..........George Soros. This is while the Dems forbid offshore drilling here. It's far from the quick fix some on the right think it is, nor is it a guarantee of oil independency But it provides greater latitude and mobility. -- Posted via NewsDemon.com - Premium Uncensored Newsgroup Service -------http://www.NewsDemon.com------ Unlimited Access, Anonymous Accounts, Uncensored Broadband Access It is amusing to hear from people who think Daily Kos is "Fair and balanced".
