years, I'm all too well aware of the unwarranted burden the government
has put on small business and the individual through the vehicle of an
indifferent government agency. *It's a repugnant oppression of the
individual, and the "compassionate" Left wants to enhance our
individual tax experience. *The IRS should be dismantled if for no
other reason than to take it out of the hands of the politician as a
conveniently persistent political issue. *Whatever happened to that
country of liberty that our founding fathers fought so hard to create?

That is exactly the argument made in Indiana in the 1966, when a 2%
sales tax was approve. *In return the personal property tax on auto was
eliminated. *HOWEVER with in a couple of years auto were again subject
to a high tax with a different name.


Net results Indiana now has a 7% sales tax and you pay several time the
what you use to pay for the personal property tax on your auto (based on
the price of the auto) to get it licensed.


What I wrote was what I believe to be a necessary alternative to the
current tax structure. *I know intuitively that our government will
never surrender or dramatically overhaul the tax system as it stands.
It's too convenient of a tool and a weapon for our politicians, for
those that are proponents of expanded government and those that
aren't.

section for the folks who got us into this mess in the first place
