Obama's support of legally replaced Honduras Chavez wanna-be Zalaya
failed and the thug won't be back in power any time soon. The Obama
admin realizing they had no basis for complaining about Zelayas ouster
had to back down. Constitutional law won and Obama and Chavez and
Castro lost.

"legal" government of Honduras? That's right, none. I'd also suggest
the story is far from over. Micheletti has blinked, and I wouldn't be
surprised to see Zelaya back as President.

Bush Admin in our CIA freelanced the coup.

zalaya is a stupid ******* but obama, unlike his predecessor, believes
in the rule of law. i realize that, to right wingers, the rule of law
is something for other people, and power is the only law...but to some
of us, constitutional principles still have meaning.

The Hondouran government removed its President according to the Honduran
Constitution when the Honduran President tried to hold an extra
Constitutional referendum. The Honduran legislature was the prosecutor,
the Honduran Supreme Court was judge and the Honduran military was the
de facto police force.

Castro, Chavez and Obama didn't like what happened because they saw it
as a puny little Central American country enforcing Constitutional law
thereby preventing the chief of state from staying in office beyond his
constitutional limited term in office setting a bad precedent, according
to them.

I suspect that in the 2012 election every failed program in the obama
administration will be blamed on President George Bush. Blaming others
in obama's only defense for his failures.

the sitting president for illegal activities. The Congress of Honduras
appointed the new president under the Courts supervision.

As with everything else, if the obamadytes disagree with it, it is
trivialized or ignored. They still think there is no opposition to
their national health care plan.

I won't deny Zelaya overstepped his bounds, but I'll also guarantee his
removal was extra-constitutional. Over the years, Honduras has had far
too many coups, to encase them in their Constitution.

If the Honduran Supreme Court orders the Honduran military to put him on
a plane out of the country how is that a coup d'etat?

Does the Honduran Supreme Court have the authority to order the Honduran
military to arrest the Honduran President?
