I'm sure the prison sentence was N. Korea's way of pushing to engage without looking weak. They've been trying to create leverage with their missles and only managed to **** everyone off, incluing China. This is a way for them to make nice and get a negotiation started. Whatever KJI negotiated for their release is a small portion of what needs to happen in order to calm that situation down. It's just a way to get to the table. |
