The guys in North Carolina, who rebuilt my port side engine two years
ago, discovered that a previous owner had repaired the oil pan with JB
Weld some time in the past. It was still holding OK but seemed like
a good thing to replace while we were doing the job. :-)


Old JiminFl called it on mine. He told me they may have problems fitting
up the new pans, which they did. Right now they are modifying the new
pans, using the dipstick and tubes from the old ones.
Requires some cutting and welding, but they should be finished and installed
soon.

Then, the "For Sale" sign goes back on it.
