That thing was about a mile North of Newport's South Beach right at the head of the Sakonnet River. Good thing it wasn't a beach day. |

Good thing it wasn't a beach day. Speaking of fish traps ... I was reading a fishing report on Cape Cod Bay today. Apparently it's a bonanza. Stripers, Blues and Tuna are all in and hitting. Tuna are plentiful and averaging 150-250 lbs. Too bad I still don't have any oil pans on my engines. Eisboch |

The Bay has been pretty good in the past few days although I'm not hearing a lot out of LIS in and around Montauk and the Plum Gut. Too bad I still don't have any oil pans on my engines. I hear that. Figures - my trailer brakes are FUBAR and I'm getting really ****ed off. :) |

He told me they may have problems fitting up the new pans, which they did. Right now they are modifying the new pans, using the dipstick and tubes from the old ones. Requires some cutting and welding, but they should be finished and installed soon. Then, the "For Sale" sign goes back on it. Eisboch |

Eisboch Sell it to SW Tom...he's dangerously running around LI Sound in a boat with a bitty 20" transom and a mismatched and low quality outboard. |

If I get a chance today in the middle of all the other stuff I gotta do, I'll ride down to my bud's place and take pictures of an old Allis bailer that, not kidding, the rakes are held to the roller by a duct tape bearing. I kid you not. |
