That thing was about a mile North of Newport's South Beach right at
the head of the Sakonnet River.
Good thing it wasn't a beach day.
Speaking of fish traps ...
I was reading a fishing report on Cape Cod Bay today. Apparently it's a
bonanza. Stripers, Blues and Tuna are all in and hitting. Tuna are
plentiful and averaging 150-250 lbs.
I've heard the same thing. The Bay has been pretty good in the past
few days although I'm not hearing a lot out of LIS in and around
Montauk and the Plum Gut.
Too bad I still don't have any oil pans on my engines.
I hear that. Figures - my trailer brakes are FUBAR and I'm getting
really ****ed off. :)
