If I've checked the voltage at the box, plug everything in, and turn on the AC, how can I then determine whether or not a given outlet is coming through an inverter or not? There is a 120v socket mounted in the sink cabinet. We plug the coffee pot in it. I guess I could measure the voltage, if any, when I'm not connected to shore power. Would that work? Yes. It's not likely you have and inverter. It would take a 2000 watt inverter to supply a single outlet. They are kind of pricey and if there happened to be one in your rig it would have been listed in your included options. Monitor your voltage at any convenient outlet. You will notice a brief dip in voltage as the AC compressor turns on. |
