His statement was a bit obtuse, but the ships he mentioned were all damaged at Pearl Harbor, but were repaired and went on to fight in WWII. *Perhaps he's just hoping this ship will go on to fight in the war on terror? Hopefully. I believe it already has. Did I miss something? What's it done? Poorly worded on my part. The steel it was made from came back from an attack and lives to fight back, which is the opportunity the mentioned ships received. If that's not it, maybe Gene will clarify. |
