CNN.
Try as he did, he couldn't get her to screw up, get confused, stumble or
otherwise make any news worthy of a comment by Harry. She was sharp,
knowledgeable of the issues, ranging from the gas line project in Alaska to
Obama's economic programs/policies to the potential threat of North Korea's
nuclear program and to the potential of Obama's comments in Egypt resulting
in alienating the US from Israel.

I have to admit that following some of the ill prepared gaffs she made
during the election cycle, she has improved dramatically, at least in this
particular interview. You could tell that Wolf was getting exasperated
because he couldn't get her to screw up.

These comments by me do not mean I think she is a serious contender for
2012, nor do I think she is particularly qualified to be POTUS. But, she
is a lot brighter than the media and Harry and his tribe like to broadcast.

Oh, she did a pretty good number on Letterman also (which IMO, he deserves).
He has acknowledged that his comments were inappropriate and she has
accepted his apology.

who's willing to cast a critical eye on her responses. She's more
mechanical than fluent. Her answers are pulled out of a box of
cliches, assembled for the circumstance, never with enough specificity
or insight to make a convincing case.

She's fine for the religious right 'cause she's against abortion.

Otherwise, she's got a big hat and no cattle and some purdy makeup.

I saw Blitzer tossing softballs at Palin. Other than pimping for her
natural gas pipeline, all she was did was toss out the expected
political generalities and, of course, pour gasoline on her silly war
with David Letterman. You're entitled to think she was "sharp." You
