I'm a fan of Sam Adams. If in a commercial establishment that doesn't
have draught beer that I like, I'd order a bottle of Sam Adams any
day.

However, there are regional craft brewers that kick Sam Adam's ass all
over the map. We have 10 of them in the Northwest and I'm sure
there's plenty in your neck of the woods too.

Ah, but Samuel Adams has a far more interesting and older history. It's
actually a old German brewmeister's recipe, the great, great grandfather of
the founder of Samuel Adams Brewery, Jim Koch. He found the recipe in the
attic of his house.

I don't like Sam Adams, but I know plenty who do.
It's all personal taste.
But I only turn my nose up at "lite" beer.
I just don't get that. Won't touch it.
