Is your boat where you left it?
Has it been stolen?
Has it sunk or burned at the dock?
Has the shrink wrap been damaged and birds and rodents are nesting in
the boat?
IT'S TIME TO CHECK YOUR BOAT!!!!

Report back with status if there's a problem, or if you prevented a
problem from happening BECAUSE YOU CHECKED YOUR BOAT.

Not trying to be an alarmist here.
Just saying CHECK YOUR BOAT!!

I would do so as directed, but I can't get out of my driveway.

&*$&%_'in SNOW!

I'd have a horse drawn plow if I was you. Make those horses earn their
oats.

You should be treated as well as his horses. Go back outside and earn
your oatmeal, Donnie.

Since I maintain full "yacht" coverage on my boats, I don't worry much
about them.- Hide quoted text -

That idea would go over like a lead balloon with Mrs.E.

The JD Gator has a hydraulic (up and down) plow and does a decent job, but
you still get soaked, wet and cold.
Last night I decided it's time to get the F-250 setup with a plow. It has
the plow package on it, so it shouldn't be a big deal.

I sound wimpy, but we have a lot of driveway to plow, and every year it gets
to be more of a chore.

I was thinking it would be a fun thing... a way for you and the horses to
'bond'.

Glad the boat check worked out well for you.

Old picture. I've only found one recent shot on Google that has the pond in
it.

Canoe is in the garage where I left it, thanks. And most heathens I know
recognize the solstice as a day of some significance - but your wishes are
most welcome, and to you, may deep and abiding joy come to you this season,
to spring forth unbidden in times of melancholy and trial.

That's great news, and I'm glad this boat check is bringing comfort to
some.

Thank you. That's a very nice felicitation.
Since I don't yet have a boat, I'll just ignore the "in times of
melancholy and trial" and do a full stop after unbidden.
