Blago is a *bit* over the edge, but I agree there is nothing unusual for
Illinois or anywhere else in the gubernatorial appointment of federal
officeholds to fill seats. There is always a quid pro quo, monetary or
otherwise.

misspoke. Why couldn't Axelrod state that he misspoke himself? Sounds
