When you publish the book, please include maps showing the locations of each shot. That's not too much to ask. -- Would you like me to make a reservation for you at the hotels I stayed in? Actually I've addressed the situation you mentioned for my own purposes. Starting this year, I've geo-tagged every photo I've taken. That means that encoded in the EXIF data is the precise lat/lon coordinates I was standing in when I took the shot. The software I use to do this will export the geo-tag data as waypoints that can be used in Garmin's MapSource software. This way, when I look at a photo 10 years from now, when I'm even more old and feeble than I am now, I won't have to remember where I took the shot. All I have to do is look at the EXIF data and it's permanently written right there. Cool stuff. No, no. We'll take our little trailer! Thanks for the offer though. Good idea with the EXIF data, except that the viewers of the PDF don't have access to it! It really is a beautiful work. -- *****Have a Spectacular Day!***** John H |
