Was having dinner with one of the P&O heavies from London last week.
He said they've finally realised they're very light on for ships
officers and upcoming junior officers. If your son is interested in a
maritime career, might be a good time to camp on a few doorsteps and
see what happens. Even locally, maybe - there's at least 1 new ship
coming into service and who knows.......
