I'm surprised it didn't give you the blue screen of death and tell you to go to bed! I'll call you. I've got a couple ideas. What he needs is a card reader - probably because the card wasn't formatted to the camera. I've got one if he wants it. That's what I use. Made by Scan Disk, takes four different styles of cards. I'm wondering if the computer will recognize the camera as a 'drive' even if the downloading software isn't starting automatically. He could be having a USB problem also. My Dell has about nine USB ports. If I'm really luck, three or four are working at any one time. The trick is in trying to figure out which ones. -- John H *Have a Super Christmas and a Spectacular New Year!* |

You just connect with the USB port, go to my computer, then look for the drive name. Then you go to that folder, and move or copy the pictures to where you want them. |

Before you do that though, check your hardware settings to make sure there isn't a corrupt usb driver. If you find one, delete it. |
