Oh yeah, another thing. The wife's older Kodak dc240 zoom is simple
to load.

I can't figure it out.

Holy ****.

2:30 AM! Don't you know that computers need sleep too. I'm surprised it
didn't give you the blue screen of death and tell you to go to bed!

I'll call you. I've got a couple ideas. I'll try around 9 my time.

What he needs is a card reader - probably because the card wasn't
formatted to the camera.

I've got one if he wants it.

That's what I use. Made by Scan Disk, takes four different styles of cards.

I'm wondering if the computer will recognize the camera as a 'drive' even
if the downloading software isn't starting automatically. He could be
having a USB problem also. My Dell has about nine USB ports. If I'm really
luck, three or four are working at any one time. The trick is in trying to
figure out which ones.

Try checking for drives under my computer. When you USB the camera to
the computer, you'll see a drive listed that wasn't there, like E: or
some such.

Might not work with that version of Windows 95 beta Tim runs.

Try letting the new hardware wizard in windows install the driver for
you. Before you do that though, check your hardware settings to make
sure there isn't a corrupt usb driver. If you find one, delete it.

That's the ONLY way the Fujifilm I had would work. You just connect
with the USB port, go to my computer, then look for the drive name.
Then you go to that folder, and move or copy the pictures to where you
want them.
