Sometimes I feel like I could tear up an anvil with a feather.

I could tear up an anvil with a feather.

John was very helpful this morning trying to work me around the
various settings, then he came to the conclusion that I was using the
wrong cord.

"John, that's the only cord I've got.and for all I know that's the
only cord that came with it"

It plugs into the camera and has a yellow and a white end"

"That's for plugging into the TV, you need a USB cord."

That's the only one in the box and that's the only one I have and the
diagram showed it being pluged into the back of the computer, but
there's only a yellow receptical and no white"

"That's not a USB cord, and that's where the problem is"

But it plugs into the camera and int he abck of the computer"

"I don't give a damn where it plugs into where, that's not the right
cord"

"Well, evidently they must not have sent the USB cord with it"

"Or, take it back to where ever you got it and ask them what the hecks
going on.... "

"yeah, I can't figure it out. Hey! thanks for calling and trying to
help me work through this. I'm stumped"

"Me too. Good luck"

Moments later:

"Hey Bridget! John tells me I don't have the right cord, and I need a
USB to hook the camera into the computer"

"Oh, I forgot to tell you ... Krystine lost hers and so I gave her
yours..."

"Oh-h-h KAY!" (Stare that could kill a bullfrog at 50 yards!)

"Sorry, I was going tot tell you that you that"

And while bighting my tongue, I softly said: "Whatever... I gotta go
to work"

So guys, confession is always good for the soul. I'm not computer
literate, and I don't confess to be. My apologies for mine ignorance.

Sorry for the hassle, and thanks for all the input. I hoped I could
have headed everyone off at the pass before now.

Kidding, how IS she doing?

I'll call you. I've got a couple ideas. I'll try around 9 my time.

What he needs is a card reader - probably because the card wasn't
formatted to the camera.

I've got one if he wants it.- Hide quoted text -

Tom, if the offer stands, I'd be happy to take you up on it.
