Can you just connect them (via switch) and charge them? Will they end up both full or one full and the other dead? Yes. They should both end up charged. 2. Can you use different capacity for a dual setup? Ideally, batteries that are regularly used in parallel should be of the same make, type, vintage, and usage history - even then you should occasionally test one battery at a time, as the good battery (or batteries) in a bank can hide a faulty one. This is true if they are discharged in parallel, but its not a problem when charging. |
