as the interconnect metheod.....

adding an IP Stack/Ethernet Port to Marine Electronics is comming...
just not here yet....except Furuno.....

Never saw that. Thanks. Is it DHCP-enabled for automatic router
addressing or some proprietary nonsense to make Furuno richer?

Now all
I need is a new microwave oven that doesn't disrupt every signal on my
boat, so Larry and I can have something to snack on when we're drinking
beer under the jib barking orders at the crew over their FRS-enabled
wris****ches....

Why would you need DHCP if you are using static IPs? I have not yet
tried it on my Navnet gear but I believe you can use an ordinary hub

Wris****ches...... That reminds me of a certain night at a club meeting
Chi-Chi's, where the TV sets wouldn't stay on the same channel even after
the bartender reset them.
