Did they go bankrupt? Did you file a proof of claim in the bankruptcy?
Creditors nearly always lose some money in a bankruptcy, but that's not
"stealing." It's how bankruptcy works.

Nope. They're still the sleazy *******s they were when we parted company.
I told the Bombadier SeaDoo guy I met at the local boatshow if his dealer
wasn't such a sleazeball I'd probably be cruising around in their new Sport
Jet powered Islandia party boat, but, alas, his company insists on selling
their product through such a ****ty dealer.....their choice, you know.

As to Yamaha Motors, their parting shot from Laurie Combellick, so-called
Customer Service Supervisor, "Larry, there is NO WAY we're EVER going to
take back that boat!" That was our last conversation before turning it
over to the lawyers. She was wrong....(c; Yamaha thinks they're immune
from Federal law. They're not.

They all just buried it. As I had not a dime in it, I could care less. I
heard threats for a while from Household, but we never could get them to
sue us. Pity. My attorney wanted that beach front house on the Isle of
Palms and I was test driving the new Mercedes 300E they were going to buy
me. They were just too smart for us, I suppose.

I won't be buying a Yamaha anything, either.... That one defective motor
has cost them over 160 unsold boats to date! All I wanted, at first, was a
replacement motor that didn't fall apart, the scratched front storage hood
it came with and the footpads that bubbled up because some Bubba didn't let
the glue dry properly, and the upgraded engine and gas tank mounts they put
in after the hulls all cracked from the engine/gas weight in the first 5000
defective boats they built. Was I asking too much on a 4-year, $800
extended Y.E.S. Yamaha warranty scam?

Did you know to invoke the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Protection Act you have
to be within 2.5 miles of your selling dealer?.....I was.
