This reminds me.
Does anyone remember when Kern of System Three used to be a regular
contributor?

John,

I don't think anyone who offers a reasonable response to a post should
get any **** here. I have been here for the best part of a decade and I
see a bad pattern developing. We are starting to except bad behavior as
the norm and are even starting it ourselves. I have no problem with the
business people here. The problem is civility not commercialism. If you
want to see where it will lead go look at rec.boats or alt.sailing.asa.
What a pitty to loose this forum to that.

Problem is Jaques, many of us truly beleive this to be the case...;-)
Not complaining, just noting... And to all you folks whining about
Jaques, could be worse, could be someone who knows **** about boats
acting this way so sit back and take notes cause this is still the
internet so you just have to sit back and filter it in your mind...
Scotty... who would love to sell as many plans as Jaques, but I don't
have the heart for the marketing...

the real tragedy being that the posters on these forums generally
believe themselves to be adult.

Just finished loading a container of boats for the States during which
everything went wrong. Could've done with a moaning chair about every
five minutes for three and a half hours.
