What a joke. Obama puts his wife out front as his spokesperson, and then
screams "no fair" when people criticize what she's said. The edition of
the
Times I got this morning headlined its front page article something like
"Michelle Obama, under attack, looks for a new introduction" It should
have
said "Michelle Obama, foot in mouth, requests do-over."

So you think the left-wingnuts should attack Cindy McCain who has also been
"put out there"?

Is that the most important thing in this campaign... no, don't answer. It's
clear.

Vote McCain! Four more years for change!

Seems to me that if Cindy McCain is put forward as John McCain's
spokesperson, then what she says is fair game for criticism. Sauce for the
goose, etc. I gather you reject such an even-handed approach.

Is that the most important thing in this campaign...

It wasn't I who raised the issue. It was you who was whining about
so-called
"attacks" on Michelle Obama.

Ah, so it's whining when I ask whether or not it's appropriate. Sounds like
you're taking the high road on this one!

Perhaps I missed it, but I didn't see any message from you asking whether
criticizing her was "appropriate."

"I'm hoping that the two candidates will avoid the personal attacks
(although
going after Michelle seems to be the ticket right now), actually talk about
the vast differences, avoid mis-quoting each other, and treat each other
with the respect each certainly deserve."

Oh. So what you _meant_ to say (as opposed to what you said) was that
attacking statements made by Obama's spokesperson is inappropriate.

Did I have to say that? Isn't that obvious? And, does that mean you take
back what you said about me whining about what Cindy's been saying? Is she
"in play" now also?
