What everyone forgets that even in socialist and communist countries, pople still have to work for what they receive...in some places, if you are not cotributing to society, you just "disappear"...or the amount of your "needs" is determined by the Great Machine, not you.... Geez, Katy, you may want to update your world view. They are currently *five* communist countries in the world, China, Cuba, Laos, North Korea, and Vietnam. If you'll notice, several of those countries are major trading partners keeping WalMart's shelves stocked with cheap goods. As for socialist countries, it is difficult to find one that isn't, at least in some aspects, including our own. Of course, we won't mention all the capitalist false democracies, dictatorships, and tyrannies. They are abundant. |

Many of those products are made by prisoners, children in deplorable condition, and almost slave like labor facilities...our oldest son and my brother have been to most of those countires listed...their reports back are not stellar...my brother is involved with an international corporation that deals with trade with several of those countries...he was appalled at what he found in them...
