Umm, no. Why would anybody with a lick of sense believe a pathological
liar?

I've known a couple of people who were real live ass-kickers,
including a few lady karate instructors. None of them felt the need to
brag. I have also been friends with a few real Navy SEALS, all of whom
were of average size (but if you looked close, you saw the whipcord
physique) and tended to like trouble occasionally.... but still didn't
brag about how bad-ass they were.

Whether it's money, sex, sailing skill, or pretty much anything else,
the louder the brag the less the reality.
