"Capt. JG" wrote in message ... There was no attack from Iraq on the US during 9/11. This is now, in addition to a global war on terrorism, an Iraqi war that was a lie and is a magnet for the creation of even more terrorists. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com Look at how many people would be out of work if our government wasn't running around the globe stirring up trouble, creating new enemies and then subsidizing them. If it weren't for that, then people might begin to realize what is government really doing for me? Creating the food pyramid that killed thousands and made many more fat. Subsidized the food industry -sugar, milk, welfare for farmers. Pumping ritalin into otherwise normal kids, highest pill prices in the world - subsidized pharmeceutical industry. Labors union exempt from anti trust laws- high labor costs. Dollars for college education, yet college costs keep exceeding inflation. Trillions for defense and we are always at war and losing to rag tag camel nations! Natural laws and the markets are rational and unforgiving. When the government gets involved to circumvent these timeless laws the relief is only temporary and the price becomes even higher. He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from opposition; for if he violates this duty he establishes a precedent that will reach himself. ~Thomas Paine There are two freedoms - the false, where a man is free to do what he likes; the true, where he is free to do what he ought. ~Charles Kingsley We must be free not because we claim freedom, but because we practice it. ~William Faulkner |
