Until today when he crossed an unwritten line to avoid criticizing a
sitting president. Clinton has done this several times, but I believe
this was Carter's first occasion. While I agree with what he said, it
opens the floodgates for ex-presidents to rip on the incumbents. Not a
healthy precedent, and it lacks any semblance of class.

Okay, okay, I'd have to agree that being forced to listen to Red Hot Chili
Peppers 24/7 might be a form of torture, but if it gets results . . .
