Default The Three Worst Presidents

Jimmy Carter/Ronald Reagon Tie for 3rd worst
Jimmy Carter was certainly a man of high standards, but his total lack
of experience lead to a 4 year stalemate for American politics. Reagan
was well loved and knew how to play the average American like a fiddle,
but he was a racist cowboy who attempted to destroy the melting pot
that was the very fabric and soul of America

George Bush Sr, 2nd worst
Compared to his son, Bush Sr. seems like a mild prototype of his son,
though he did embrace at least some republican values of merit.

George Bush Jr. Worst president of all time...so far
Started war over invented WMDs
9/11 occurs on his watch
Sits in class room while towers burn and Americans die
Admits Iraq is no threat a few months before starting war campaign. It's on tape.
Uses OLD and VERY OLD intelligence dating back to early 90's to support war.
Announced the worlds funniest coalition of support (with almost zero military support).
Useless war generates the worst anti-American standard worldwide.
War claims the lives of thousands of Americans, civilians and children.
US forces are sent in without basic gear required and must scavenge for it.
Bush opposes woman's right to choose.
Bush opposes stem cell research against massive public outcry to appease his religious friends.
Bush denies secret prisons, torture and worse, then admits to it, defying the basic principals on which this country was founded.
Bush allows big oil to gouge the American public and they don't even try to hide the profits.

Congrats to our current president and his very few supporters.

Joe, you're so simplistic and dumb, it's just too easy to trip you up.
I voted for two of the "winners." But I was wrong. Almost every
republican I know also knows that they were wrong on Bush.
Even when you know your president lied to you, it's still fine for you.
In your angry little world it's a "us or them" battle, and you're so
certain there is a side to be on. That's just how Bush and many other
other horrible politicians play you so easily. Joe, there is right and
wrong and it's not about belonging to a party.
Have you ever seen the video of Bush laughing at the idea of Iraq as
any kind of threat to the USA?

Want to hear what Rice and Powell said only months before (In case you
didn't believe Bush)?

http://youtube.com/watch?v=y1X-I-38lrU

So, please tell us why we invaded IRAQ if Bush KNEW they had no WMDs.

Predictably composed by one who obviously never picked up an American

In 1998 the Congress of the United States passed the "Iraqi
Liberation Act." This act was promoted and signed into law by
then President Clinton. This Act called for support of the INC
(Iraqi National Congress) and the removal of Saddam from power.
The Iraqi Liberation Act was enacted and was black letter law
long before President Bush was elected as President. President
Bush inherited this law, and the removal of Saddam had already
been mandated by the US Congress long before President Bush took
office.

In October 2001, the US Congress voted unanimously (save one
traitor from California) to resolve that "a state of war exists
between the USA and all international terrorists and all those
that aid or harbor terrorists." This Congressional resolution
provided President Bush with the individual power to determine
which entities and nations were either terrorists or aiding or
harboring terrorists, and further, granted President Bush
*exclusive* discretion to use the full weight of the US Military
to hunt down or otherwise eliminate any such designated enemies.

Saddam had developed his own terrorist faction called the
Fedayeen, and these terrorist goons surfaced during the invasion
of Iraq. These terrorists were not only responsible for murderous
attacks on coalition forces, they also were murdering Iraqis that
refused to fight and were further holding hostage the families of
Iraqi soldiers. In true radical Muslim style, these Fedayeen
terrorists also traveled around the Iraqi countryside
decapitating Iraqi women that had committed the unspeakable crime
of simply waiving at the coalition forces.

Saddam openly admitted and bragged about sending money and
arms to the Palestinian terrorist organizations known as Hamas,
PLO, and Islamic Jihad. All three of those terrorist
organizations have murdered Americans in the past, and are
well-known terrorist organizations.

On December 27, 2000, Saddam openly and publically declared
war on the United States, Britain and Israel. Saddam's
declaration of war occurred only ten months prior to the 911
massacres, and his declaration of war was carried on the front
pages of all the Baghdad newspapers, and on the front page of
most Arabic European newspapers. Under the articles of the Geneva
Convention, any nation in receipt of an official declaration of
war has a right to preemptively attack the nation that issued the
war declaration.

The USA and Britain not only had the legal right to invade Iraq
and depose Saddam due to the violation of not less than seventeen
UN Resolutions since the Gulf War, they also had the moral
authority and the ethical necessity to do so.

Default The Three Worst Presidents

There were probably others worse than Hoover. I forgot... the one who
supposedly looked so "presidential" that he was nominated because of his
looks. I can't remember the name at the moment. I believe his administration
was riddled with corruption. Then there was Grant. He was a terrible
president, again with a very corrupt administration, although he was a great
man.

Carter was terrible, but he's made up for it as one of the best
ex-presidents. Ford did nothing, and still does nothing. Personally, I liked
Reagan. I met him once while he was governor. It was hard not to like him,
although my politics at the time was a bit more left than they are now. :-)

Until today when he crossed an unwritten line to avoid criticizing a sitting
president. Clinton has done this several times, but I believe this was
Carter's first occasion. While I agree with what he said, it opens the
floodgates for ex-presidents to rip on the incumbents. Not a healthy
precedent, and it lacks any semblance of class.
