Default Hey Mooron!

Did you know this?

Moorings suck. They're for small toy boats and folks who
can't afford a slip.

What an ignorant assertion. Having been in slips for years, and then on a
mooring for 4 and now ba Of course, if your priority is the cable and phone
hookup, and pressure water at the dock rather than making sure your tank is
topped....or you want to run your AC nonstop....ck to a slip, I'll take the
four years on a mooring anyday....being in a slip is annoying, especially on
weekends when people hang off your bow, intrude into your life, and
generally provide a noise level not found out on the water. And in storms,
your boat gets rolled around on its' cleats rather than riding the weather
as it should...bow to.....ok, so it takes time and effort to row out and
stow your stuff, etc. but it's well worth it to feel your boat actually
moving underneath you instead of yanking against itself every time someone
exceeds the No Wake when tied in a slip.....if your priorities are other
than wanting to be a part of it all...that your boat is just one more hotel
room....go for the slip....
