You're just saying that. Deep down inside you are an American!

Are you kidding???.... I'm more American than 90% of Americans!

I just don't like your country is all!

Ya'll can't shoot, can't drink, can't even fight a decent war anymore....
yer gettin' yer asses kicked all over the planet, nobody's skeered of ya
anymore... the founders of the United States of America are rollin' in
their graves at what a sell out nation you've become. It's disgusting to
see... especially for somebody like me. I used to really like the ole;
USofA.... now all I see is a bunch of navel gazing pansy whiners letting
big business strip away their freedoms! You ain't a country..... your a
Business and yer citizens merely "Associates" without a say!

Pathetic! ...and you dare question why I wouldn't visit/?????

CM

Yes I do question why.

England does has the highest percentage of drunks. Americans can shoot and
fight quite well. Who is kicking our ass at present? Who did the US sell out
to?

American business always ran the show. The American Revolution was started
by business leaders who realized that individual freedom led to economic
freedom. Most of the signers of the Declaration of Independence where
wealthy men.

Read "War is a Racket" by Smedley Butler, USMC General, two time Medal Of
Honor Receipient. That was written over 50 years ago.

It's still a great place. Come visit and see firsthand.

Americans are friendly!

Your federal taxes don't look high:

If the taxes are so high, why work?

I work six months and go on pogy for six months.... The key is to make a
year's wages in six months.... then kick back!

If we send you to Canada do we get Mooron in return?

Would you consider that a good trade????

Not for me....

Nor for the US of A. Another freeloader, suckling at the gigantic
government tit, is hardly what we need.

Then again I could move to Canada and suckle at the government teat like
someone else we know and . . . um, know.

When you start payin' 49% of your income in taxes and Pension, EI and
Health Care..... then you can talk to me.... until then.... I'll keep
filing online and collecting what I paid into.

Hell, we pay at least that here. The rule of thumb is that a prosperous
individual in the US pays half his income annually in taxes of all forms.
Those include state taxes in addition to federal taxes, but they are f***ing
taxes, nonetheless. And most of us will never see a fraction of that
returning to our pockets, thanks to the freeloaders who siphon it off for
themselves, their special interests, and corporate welfare.

Mooron, any American that makes any kind of real income usually pays more
than 40%...unless he's lucky enough to be some muti-mollionaire with
Cayman Isalnd tax shelters...

Don't forget to point out to him that the prosperous (read: working)
Americans don't have federal health care and all those other socialist
benefits that cannucks have.

On a serious note, Avery Brundage fought for decades to keep
professionalism out of the Olympics. Ultimately he was overruled, and
it's damaged the games beyond repair, IMO. Only the relatively non-pro
sports, such as Biathlon, Luge, Skeleton, Bobsled, Curling, etc. hold
my interest any longer. I couldn't care less about snowboard,
freestyle skiing, alpine, men's hockey, and the other pro-based events.
Many of us remember the "miracle on ice" at the Lake Placid 1980 Games,
when the US amateur hockey team beat the highly-pro Russians and went
on to win the gold. That event will never be repeated under the
current paradigm.

Max

Great points. I wish it was purely amateur as well. It really said a lot
when US amateurs, without government funding, took on virtual
professional state run teams of other countries. I also think team
sports should be eliminated.

Amen!

It was tragic when the IOC stooped to the lowest common denominator on
the pro issue. Instead of fighting to keep the games truly amateur, they
caved and let everyone get paid for doing what they do. Now we have
millionaires playing basketball, hockey, skiing, skating, etc. And NBC
would have us believe that these poor, downtrodden athletes have
sacrificed everything to get to the Olympics. Hogwash. If the
governments of the world follow the lead of the IOC, it won't be long
when all drugs are legalized because it's easier to acquiesce to the
elements in the toilet than fight for what is right.

Max

Legalizing all drugs is self regulating. Remember the lab monkeys giving
themselves overdoses?

The ACLU would be screaming bloody murder at the US government for not being
the proper nanny to the idiots who, like the primates, overdosed. The only
upside I see in legalizing drugs is that the sale of them would be taxed,
along with the abandonment of the so-called "war on drugs." A lot of money
would be generated and saved w/r/t the federal coffers.

Of course then we'd have to institute several multi-billion dollar federal
giveaway programs to help those addicted to drugs wean themselves off for a
few months before becoming addicted again.

In the USA..... I believe your "Government Tit".... is Dry... and your
Government Dick ..... although flaccid, is sufficient to screw most of you
up the ass. Seeing as you seem not only receptive, but almost anticipatory
to the act.... ya'll go on doin' what'ya doin.... I'll just sit back an
'Kick It" fer a spell.

Just found out I'm getting $6200 back in overpaid taxes!! Man life ie
rough!

Ever consider that aerial stuff is really not for someone of any age. It
all just shows up later in life.

Look at all the young age mogul fiends getting new hips later in life.

My knees began to give me problems in college after the better part of 10
years as a catcher. I still suffer some issues with them. Your point is
well taken.

Max

When I coached youth baseball, which I did for about 10 years the
hardest position to fill was catcher. Seems like those that could
didn't want to and those that wanted to suffered from bat swing blink.
One of my sons caught for a number of those seasons, however
reluctantly. He was always beat up.

Nothing quite like taking a 200lb., 20mph baserunner in the chest while
attempting to catch a long throw from center field.

Max bears the scaars to this day....

That had nothing to do with baseball. Mooring cleats--yes, but not
baseball.
